Public interest in recycling has increased dramatically over the last two decades. Worldwide recognition that e-waste is a critical concern environmentally and economically has led to the implementation of policies, regulations and programs, globally and locally.
Closer to home, The United States produces more e-waste annually than any other country! The amount of electronics that Americans throw away every year… is over 10 million tons! Electronic waste, from discarded devices and electrical appliances, is a growing threat to earth’s resources, the environment, and public health unless safe disposal becomes the norm.
As a Electronics Restoration Services provider, it is our responsibility to recognize and offer all cleaning and repair options on all items we evaluate that have been affected by a water, fire, mold, or electrical surge event.
When non-salvage/replacement is recommended we have a secondary responsibility as electronics handlers to insure that the e-waste is processed and recycled using zero-landfill and zero-export standards.
